The theme for the Fifth National Conference on Service in Indian Country is "Preserving the Past. Creating our Future: Resources for Strengthening our Communities."

The National Association for the Education of Young Children will be holding its annual conference on December 7-10, 2005, in Washington, DC. The conference will feature workshops on topics relating to early childhood care and education.

This national gathering of community educators, held in St. Louis, Missouri, offers a forum to create comprehensive community programs, including community schools, for the 21st century.

The 2005 National Conference on Disability Inclusion and National Service, held in Alexandria, Virginia, will look at lessons learned and look ahead to see what the future might hold for inclusive national service.
