National Family Week [1] celebrates the idea that strong amilies are at the center of strong communities. The theme of the week is Connections Count, to encourage better connections between children, families, and ommunities. Children live better lives when their families are strong. Families are strong when they live in communities that connect them to networks of support, and to tangible benefits including economic self-sufficiency, reliable child care, dependable transportation, affordable housing, accessible health care, and applicable education and training. Everyone has a role in making families successful, so make your connection count.
