Sponsored by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, “Graduated Sanctions in Juvenile Justice: A National Training,” is scheduled for May 7-10, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nev.

This intensive 2-˝ day training will offer multiple tracks of six workshops each on graduated sanctions themes ranging from “Getting Started” to deep systems change resulting from successful application of graduated sanctions. Delinquency prevention strategies will be explored, and participants will take a realistic look at detention alternatives for diverse populations in jurisdictions of various sizes.
