Organizations, HealthThe Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) is a nonpartisan policy and program resource center located at the School of Public Health and Health Services at The George Washington University Medical Center. Our mission is to strengthen the well-being of children and adolescents through effective health programs and health care services in school. The Center was created to promote awareness of the mental health needs of youth in contact with the juvenile justice system and to assist the field in developing improved policies and practices to respond to these needs based on the best available research and practice.
