The Children's Alliance of New Hampshire is a statewide, nonprofit advocacy organization with over a decade of experience working on behalf of the health and well being of the children of this state. Our mission statement describes both our vision and our purpose:

The Nevada KIDS COUNT project is a statewide, collaborative effort that brings together a wide range of organizations and agencies involved with children and families in Nevada. By providing policymakers and citizens with the best available data on the educational, social, economic, and physical well-being of all children in our state, Nevada KIDS COUNT seeks to improve the lives and the futures of all our children.

Voices for Children is an independent, nonprofit organization committed to serving Nebraska's children by:

· Advocating for the best interests of children.
· Equipping parents, professionals and volunteers to effectively meet the deepest needs of Nebraska's children.
· Inspiring all Nebraskans to put the needs of children first.

For more than 50 years, the Bureau of Business and Economic Research has been working to help Montanans understand their state and make informed decisions in their personal and professional lives. This Web site was designed to provide you with the Bureau's various types of information pertinent to Montana's economy.

The Bureau—a research department within The University of Montana-Missoula's School of Business Administration—was founded in 1948 to monitor the state's economic and business conditions. The Bureau has expanded from a staff of four to a research department of 18 full-time employees and more than a dozen part-time workers.

Citizens for Missouri's Children is an independent voice for Missouri's Children.

Our mission is to advocate the rights and well-being of all Missouri's children, especially those with the greatest need. We are a not-for-profit, non-partisan public interest organization. We promote:

Development and implementation of policy through research, analysis, and public education
Collaborative work with the public and private sectors

The Mississippi Forum on Children and Families provides community resource development through information, education, and training. The Forum is using education, research, and demonstration in the areas of early childhood education and care, child health, youth development, employment preparation and family support. The Forum has four primary objectives:

Establishment of quality programs
Distribution of information

Children's Defense Fund (CDF) was founded in 1973 by Marian Wright Edelman to provide a strong and effective voice for the children of America, since they cannot vote, hire lobbyists, or speak out for themselves.

The Michigan League for Human Services (MLHS) is a statewide citizens non-profit organization dedicated to education, research and advocacy for the benefit of low income and other vulnerable citizens in the state of Michigan. MLHS is comprised of over 1,900 organizational and individual members and has served the human services community in Michigan since 1912.

MLHS offers Michigan’s citizens an opportunity to be connected to the state’s vital human services network and the chance to affect the outcome of public policy decisions that ultimately impact the lives of all of the residents of Michigan.

Massachusetts Citizens for Children (MCC) was founded in 1959 by Dr. Martha May Eliot, an internationally recognized pediatrician and chief of the US Children's Bureau (1951 - 1956). We are a non-profit statewide child advocacy organization, whose mission is to improve the lives of the state's most vulnerable children through advocacy by concerned citizens.

MCC is the source that citizens and the media turn to for an independent view of events, legislative issues or public policies affecting and their families. We are independent of political, partisan, and government organizations.

Advocates for Children and Youth (ACY) was founded in 1987 by a group of prominent child advocates in Maryland who saw the need for an independent organization to advocate for the needs of the state's children and families in the community, the media and the public policy arena.

ACY's mission has remained unchanged since its founding--to identify problems, promote policies and programs that improve results for Maryland children in measurable and meaningful ways, and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and policies for the state's children and youth. The agency's goals include ensuring that children have access to:
