The Maine Children's Alliance is a strong, powerful voice for children, youth and families and provides leadership to create or change policy on their behalf. The Maine Children's Alliance collects the voices and data of various organizations, develops, promotes and advocates a substantive strategic plan including desired outcomes to insure positive change for children and their families.

Kentucky Youth Advocates, a non-partisan, non-profit, children's advocacy organization, represents a voice for Kentucky's most precious asset-- its youth. KYA delivers Kentucky children's message to the state legislature, the community, and the media. We insist that our young citizens be given the opportunities and resources to ensure their productive development and health. KYA listens to children, their families, and service providers who are reluctant or unable to raise questions about existing policies.

The mission of Kansas Action for Children is to act as a change agent of policies and systems to ensure that the needs and rights of children in the state of Kansas are met. Quite simply, our mission is "speaking up for children."

Rather than assisting children on a case by case basis through direct services, Kansas Action for Children seeks to improve public policy and public systems. Changes in these arenas affect large numbers of Kansas children.

The Child and Family Policy Center was established in 1989 by former Iowa Legislator Dr. Charles Bruner to better link research and policy on issues vital to children and families, and to advocate for outcome-based policies to improve child well-being. The Center was founded by Tanager Place, a charitable organization in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The Indiana Youth Institute (IYI) is a leading source of information and tools for nonprofit Indiana youth organizations. We also reach educators, policymakers, government officials, and others who can impact the lives of Hoosier children and promote healthy youth development in Indiana communities.

IYI's programs and services are organized into three areas: useful information, practical tools, and the promotion of positive youth development.

Voices for Illinois Children champions the full development of every child in Illinois to assure the future well-being of the people of the state. We work with families, communities and policymakers to ensure that all children grow up healthy, nurtured, safe and well-educated.

Idaho Kids Count is a statewide, nonprofit organization engaging citizens and policy makers in non-partisan, research-based discussions of strategies to improve childhood outcomes and our public priorities for accomplishing them. Idaho Kids Count, launched in 1994 by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, is a program of Mountain States Group a 501(c)3 community resource organization, with Idaho Community Count (United Way of Treasure Valley) and Boise State University (Center for Health Policy) as a partners in research.

Family Connection Partnership is a public/private partnership created by the State of Georgia and funders from the private sector. We assist communities in addressing the serious challenges facing Georgia's children and families.
